The Cast

This marks the advent of my first blog entry.  Wish me luck! I am completely new to the world of web logging, but since I have so much free time on my hands [insert sarcasm here], I've decided to give it a shot. I would like to dedicate this post to Rebecca Logue, who vowed her fan-ship if I were to follow through on this endeavor.

Before I begin ranting about my life, I thought it would be best to introduce the main characters in the Wright household.

Mr. Wright

This man is my miracle.  He's handsome, manly as all get out (my own personal mechanic, carpenter, plumber, painter, landscaper, etc.), has an awesome sense of fashion, and knows how to love me unconditionally.  Most of all, though, he loves the Lord.

Lana Wright

That's me! You can read my profile if you'd like, but if you're looking for a quick glimpse of my personality, here it is:  I'm a jack of all trades.  I can be silly or scholarly, outgoing or reserved, carefree or OCD, cheery or cranky.  So, it goes without saying that I make life incredibly interesting for Mr. Wright (see above).

Wilbur Wright

Wilbur Wright is our precious baby boy (of the miniature Dachshund variety).  He was born on our wedding day (December 11, 2010) and has been happily living with us since January.  He loves playing, chewing, and cuddling.  Even when he's naughty, we can't help but laugh at his antics.  He thinks he rules the Wright roost.

There you have it! We are the Wrights.

  1. Love this...not your infection...but the writing. I hope you keep it up. You have a wonderful gift with words! Reminds me of your Grandma Iris. Love you!
